BLOCK WAlKING FAQ's
Why should I block walk?
It's fun and great exercise! Plus, you meet like-minded people and gain personal satisfaction by helping to Get Out The Vote!
Our block walk turfs focus on voters who are registered to vote but who tend to only vote in presidential elections. By giving them information about the candidates and voting day information, they will be more informed and motivated to votein this November’s non-presidential election.
When can I block walk?
There will be two group block walking events each week on Sundays at 4 p.m. and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. We will walk in teams of two and train everyone to use the MiniVan app on your phone (it’s easy!).
We also offer block walking turfs you can do on your own schedule. Each turf contains about 30 to 40 doors. Turfs are available for pickup at HQ.
Where are we block walking?
All block walking is in House District 129, which encompasses the Greater Clear Lake Area.
